Rivers giving up Winter Hold Overs in good numbers. Hooking a keeper or 2 each day out my last 5 times on the water over a 7 day stretch. With the weather hitting the 60's plus here in CT my boat get taken to work. No afternoon meetings inside means afternoon meetings with Mr. Fish, Mr. Beer, and Mr. Cigar. Cool

All fish caught on my hand poured plastics in 18 to 40' of water on 1/4 to 1/2 oz heads.

Can't wait to run down south a little to meet the big girls coming in for Spring Spawning run in a few more weeks. Yet another chance to go after my 50lber that I've yet to land.

Hope you all have a great season.

Jay

Professional ball busting fisherman at work.
Future life saver Joey hooking a nice 31.75” fish (my buddy Doug says is 25” on tape several times. Don’t listen to a drunk that hasn’t hook fish freaken one yet. LOL). I don’t bring nets and release all Stripers. So if you want a pic with it on my ride you better man up and lip the fish.

A nice keeper size fish released to fight another day. Keeper size is 28" or better.

Sure enough we found them. About 50 Fluke came over the side yesterday. To bad the limit of 3 per.

Quick dozen bass from 32 to 39" and then a bunch of fluke from 16" to that 25" below. Love that beer battered fluke. Cool

I was just down your way doing the tile in the new Sonic in Wallingford. We were doing 15 hour days, though-- no time to catch up with you and fish! Crying or Very sad

I even thought about bringing down my surf rod, but I knew what it was going to be like.

Laughing Good eye.

Normaly don't keep to many stripers. People asked me for some so we took 2 each. 6 strpers over 25lbs each should keep them happy for a while. 28" 2 per person is the CT limit.

Cooler had a couple along with the bunker I snagged.
