Hey fellas when I find something that works I like to share. When I was a kid I used to see this funny looking gaget in my stepfathers tacklebox. Turns out it was the Wobblehead made not too far from our home in La. As time passed I would see the lure on the shelves of tackle retailers and say what a goofy looking thing. That was then this is now.....

I had picked up a few of the Wobbleheads last year at Bass Pro Shops. They came with a small worm and I figured it would be cool to see what old school swim worming was all about. It sat in my tacklebox for months. I tied it on a couple of times and swam the little worm with moderate success. Skipping forward, A friend from JD's Custom Baits produced these monster worms. This worm was also old school, something his father used to win tournaments with back in the day. The freaking thing looks like a small snake. I was swimming them along with great success and had a brain storm.....how about putting one on the Wobblehead and see what happens. My second cast into the center of the canal got jammed up solid. You know when you get a big fish and he really don't run or splash, he just moves off heavy taking drag? That was the first of many big fish hookups with the old school Wobblehead. All I can say is that you can learn allot by talking to old schoolers and old timers. The JD's Custom Bait Monster Worm on a Wobblehead will pull the biggest bass out of your favorite fishing hole. Do yourself a favor and check them both out. Not really pitching them but like I said up top when I find something that works I like to share. For all those big stripper guys, i'll bet this will take huge fish for you as well! Here is a link to both companies.
